Planning a weekend staycation near Delhi NCR is one of the most popular ways to escape the fast-paced city life. Noida outskirts, particularly the Sector 135 and Yamuna Expressway belts, have emerged as prime farmhouse destinations. However, to ensure your staycation is a seamless and relaxing experience, it is vital to follow a clear farmhouse booking checklist before paying a booking deposit.

1. Confirm Guest Capacity

Unlike standard hotel rooms, farmhouses are booked as whole properties. You must explicitly verify the maximum allowed guest count for both overnight stay and daytime usage. Overcrowding can lead to water shortage, generator load trips, or security issues inside gated communities. Look for listings that specify capacity, such as "Up to 150 guests" for party lawns or "Up to 80 guests" for smaller retreats.

2. Pool Usage and Maintenance Rules

A private pool is often the center of staycation activities. Always ask when the pool was last cleaned and if the chemical treatment is active. Check the pool hours (some communities restrict swimming after 10:00 PM due to noise guidelines) and depth limits to keep children safe.

3. Meal Add-ons and Kitchen Access

Find out if the rental includes kitchen usage, or if you need to hire an on-site caretaker/cook. Many luxury farmhouses in Noida offer kitchen access with basic gas supply but require you to bring your own ingredients. Alternatively, inquire about structured catering packages or in-house meal add-ons to avoid cooking hassles during your break.

4. Sound Limits and Event Permissions

While farmhouses offer excellent space for private parties, they are located near residential agricultural zoning. Gated farmhouse communities typically require music to be turned down or moved indoors after 10:00 PM. Confirm these restrictions in writing with the management to avoid fine payouts or event interruptions.
